What Is the Academy?

The Academy of Reality Television is a free membership program created by The ARTAS for the professionals and talent who make unscripted television happen every day.
Whether you work at a network, a production company, or as a freelancer — or whether you appear on screen — the Academy is your professional community. Members receive invitations to exclusive networking events, access to the ARTAS industry ballot, and a home within the broader reality TV world.
The Academy holds regular networking events that connect members across departments and disciplines. It’s the community the reality TV industry has needed.
Who Can Join?
The Academy is open to current 2024–2025 Reality TV industry professionals who have worked at least one role in the unscripted television space.
Current Reality TV Industry Professionals
You qualify if you have held at least one professional role in the reality television industry during the 2024–2025 season. This includes a broad range of roles across all areas of production and talent.

Minimum Requirement:At least one professional role in reality/unscripted television during the 2024–2025 season. All applications are reviewed by The ARTAS team to verify industry affiliation.
